Pakistan Mine Workers Federation set a protest demonstration on Thursday 10th January, 2019 at Quetta, Balochistan Pakistan. Demonstration was led by Mr. Haji Noor Muhammad, President PMWF. Representatives of remote mining workers, labor leaders and local members of Human Rights attended the demonstration. Protesters appealed for mining worker’s rights and hold Hoardings. Protesters demand for ensuring efficient and applicable occupational health & safety of mining workers, provision of basic health facilities at mining sites, stress-free and quick delivery of benefits (death grants, marriages grants, scholarships etc.) to the mine workers compensated by Workers Welfare Board (WWB). They also appealed for deployment of qualified and dutiful employees in WWB and BHUs/hospitals at mining sites. All the media was thanked for reporting event.
